Hello World

New brand ID for social mobility

Technology is the engine of innovation, shaping not just society as we know it, but the future. And without people of color at the coding table, the status quo advances.

All Star Code, a non-profit organization providing young bright minds of color with coding and entrepreneurial skills, can actually put an end to all that.

We created a new brand identity and brand platform called “Hello World” - a nod to coding, and celebration to a new world with new minds at the table.

Brand Identity

Borrowing cues from code, like java script and primary colors, we juxtaposed these cold elements with the warmth of editorialized emotive-meets-hype photography. Introductory programs to code, such as Hello World, inspired the tagline, which serves not only as a first initiation into tech, but also as a confident, almost defiant, arrival into the new world the student created. One that’s bigger than landing a job in tech – it’s one that’s rewriting the code for History.

Website

The website is a a massive educational hub that we fully redesigned, but the main event was educating why code matters when it comes to social mobility.
