👋

Hi! I’m Nina, award-winning executive creative director and copywriter based in New York City.

I’m here to leverage the power of advertising to celebrate culture, and bring sophistication and purpose to the discipline. Because someone has to, and I’m glad it’s me.

My cultural contributions include debunking toxic masculinity for the sake of casual joggers; turning heritage paint brand Benjamin Moore into a hype capsule collection; teleporting a wholesome outerwear brand into a world where A$AP Ferg rocked its gear in his “Jet Lag” video; forging friendships to fight AIDS with Waris Ahluwalia; providing financial independence and social mobility to bright, young black and brown minds through the power of code; outsmarting acne, and introducing new ways for women to shop for skin concerns, because, confusing; publicly paying homage to lady masturbation – and much, much more.

I’ve built creative departments from the ground up, spearheaded multiple creative teams across disciplines and programs, won new businesses and solidified retainers, and somewhere in there launched branded zines. In that time, I worked at some of the biggest agencies like AKQA, Virtue (the Creative Agency of VICE), Elephant, Google, Sid Lee, Publicis and FCB to name a few, and with global clients like lululemon, adidas, Budweiser, Maserati, and K-Y, to make them culturally relevant so youth culture can take them seriously.

I’ve also gotten some press for my work, but not because I wrote it or because Google Image thinks I’m a socialite. Maybe that’s what convinced the ADC Awards and New York Festivals Advertising Awards to add me to their Grand Jury? I’ll never know.

Outside of work, I dance (in real life, and in my head), dream up my soon-to-be best-selling novel, soak in culture and hug dogs.

Say hello, and ask me about anything from my work to mixtape drops, runway shows and mercury retrograde.
